This exquisite vintage 9ct yellow gold opal and Sapphire ring, crafted and assayed in London in 1978, is a true statement piece with nearly half a century of history.
At its centre sits a captivating oval crystal Opal measuring 8.1mm x 6.1mm (approx. 0.78ct), alive with rolling flashes of blue, green, and vibrant pink-red hues that dance across its surface with every movement.
The Opal is securely held in a classic six-claw setting and surrounded by a halo of eight richly saturated deep blue Sapphires, arranged in an elegant daisy-style formation. Excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, abrasions or surface dulling to the Opal, its very securely set in its original eight claws with cover Opal perfectly. All Sapphires are free from chips or abrasions and all are also very securely set. The shank is solid, thick and strong showing no thinning. No repairs or damages. Lovely!
