Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Albertina Watch Chain/Bracelet Circa 1890-1900
Please note, boxes are for display only unless otherwise stated.
A charming and all original Victorian Albertina dating to the late 1800’s.
Originally worn by ladies to connect a fob watch at one end and secured through a lapel via the tee bar at the other, today they are now often worn as a bracelet and this one is just perfect for that use at a very pealing length of 22.5cm.
A heavy example at 18 grams, this beauty features both rope twist and foxtail lengths, highly ornate spheres with raised details, a large T-bar and large and strong securing dog-clip to fasten and a freely hanging tassel fob.
A divine piece to say the least, beautifully manufactured during the Victorian era, and ready and waiting to be worn and seen again.
