Please note, chains are for display only unless otherwise stated.

Dating to the early 20th century circa 1920-30 this immaculate guillochè enamel chatelaine mirrored compact, today, would make a stunning pendant worn on your favourite chain or perhaps a beautiful velvet ribbon.

Worn originally as a functional piece of jewellery, no expense was spared in the manufacture of these exquisite pieces, with their engine turned gold washed interiors which gleam when opened, and their stunning almost iridescent guliioché enamel work.

This fine example is crafted from a higher than Sterling silver grade - 935 Silver - and features Royal blue guilloché enamel to the rear, front and gorgeous opening lid.
Inside the original mirror (shows some foxing due to age) and stunning gold washed engine turned compartment which original would have held a powder puff or similar, but now can be used for perhaps a photo or another treasured momento.

A perfect size to wear as a pendant at 3.2cm round and with the original top bale a 4cm drop,  the oval bale will accommodate a nice sized chain or velvet ribbon.

In stunning condition this piece is longing to be worn, seen and treasured again.
