This superb ring, both in manufacture and style, dates to the later modern Retro era circa 1960’s and journeys us back to a time when glamour and Hollywood chic dazzled!

An era when Retro jewellery took centre stage with its bold and ostentatious designs, the bigger the better! Think chunky necklaces, swaying chandelier earrings and oversized cocktail rings!

Crafted from 14ct Yellow gold with a lustrous Mabe Pearl accented by a half circle row of fifteen stunning round brilliant cut diamonds set in white gold, to the incredible folded ribbon-like fan shaped gold in matte finish with an accenting trim of highly finished gold.

Styled to perfection this surprisingly low rise ring sits with ease on the finger, fanning out slightly above the adjoining finger, amazingly comfortable. A wide four ribbed shank feels silky smooth and sturdy on the finger.

So.. is this an everyday ring? Possibly depending on your style.. however a ring like this, something no one else will be wearing, something no one else has probably ever seen, is a ring suitable for the Gala, the balls, the soireés… Shouldn’t we all have the option of bedazzling at any special event we chose to attend? CONDITION
Very good to excellent vintage condition. A wonderful ring with no condition issues. Mabe Pearls is lovely, a creamy white which picks up the reflection of the surrounding gold, and almost glows. Diamonds are beautifully matched, no chips, bright white and lively, colour G-H clarity VS-SI. Substantially made, no shining or wear. Minor marks to gold only, insignificant. A superb ring.
