An absolutely fabulous multi-band ‘Harem’ ring dating to the mid 20th century circa 1940-60.

Manufactured in Naples Italy from 12ct gold and stamped as such, this wide and how ring features an extraordinary seven separate bands in Harem ring design, and each band is cleverly set with an array of tiny faceted rubies and diamonds which interlock with each other to create this eye catching finger spread of 1.6cm!

Each delicately positioned setting interlocks to perfection to create a low rise cluster in an almost floral pattern with the tiny **’macle’ cut diamonds surrounding by the tiny vibrant red rubies to the outside.

Fully hinged to the rear of the shank for ease of wear, this ring veritably glides onto the finger and remains in position without slippage, and we guarantee once on it is incredibly comfortable to wear.

A showy ring unusual ring which draws compliments whenever it is seen.

Macle' refers to flat triangular-shaped crystals that show only two octahedral faces (one on either side) due to crystal twinning.  Macle is taken from the old French for twin.
