DESCRIPTION (Please scroll to the bottom to view video)
Strikingly pretty vintage ring crafted in Varese Italy and hallmarked for manufacture by Giovanni Bertinetti working out Cassano Magnago, a town in the province or Varese, Lombardy, Italy.
Bertinetti entered his mark, which is always a number, of ’165’ on 4th/10/1967 and unfortunately the literature does not inform us as to how long he was a jeweller, although he was still active in 1971.
Crafted in bright 18ct yellow gold as a wide tapering flat band to which the stunning centre piece is a multi gem set flower motif.
The central round cut gem is a round brilliant cut Amethyst, set in a bezel setting, and surrounding this gem are four gems each set in Heart bezel settings; a pear-cut Amethyst, Citrine, Peridot and Quartz, all cut en cabochon.
Simple white gold rondels sit to each side of the flower motif.
Measuring a wide 1.2cm at the front and gradually tapering to 4.4mm at the rear of the shank.
This stunning vintage multi gem ring could be the perfect Valentines gift for that someone special.
