Vintage Carved ‘Heart’ Natural Amethyst Scent Bottle With Chain And Dog Clip

A wonderful piece that is quite the mystery!
The carved heart shaped scent bottle is glorious… heavy and very solid with stunning natural Amethyst inclusions which can be seen under certain lighting, with its lovely Amethyst round stopper which screws on and off and fastens tightly to allow your favourite scent to be inserted if desired.
A swivel band around the neck has two small jump rings to which a 9ct gold box chain has been added later, and to the top an antique bevelled edged dog-clip in rolled gold, also a later addition.
We believe this Amethyst scent bottle is vintage, the 9ct box chain possible antique and the dog-clip also antique, but all these components combine to create a fabulous piece of functional jewellery which is wearable, and versatile!

Very good to excellent preowned condition. A heavy piece, the Amethyst scent bottle is lovely with no chips or scratches. Top stopper screws off with ease, fastens tightly. No repairs to box chain and no thinning to links. Dog clip is gold filled or rolled gold and quite lovely with faceted edge work and swivels, functions perfectly.
