Vintage Australian Sterling Silver - 9ct Gold Accents - ‘Day And Night’ Antique Style Fob Chain

A wonderful piece of Australian vintage jewellery, dating we believe to around the 1960-80s, in antique style.
Crafted and stamped for manufacture from Sterling silver with various Australian stamps - STG SIL, STERLING, and interestingly the Lion Passant used for Sterling here in Australia too in some instances by some manufacturers.
Designed as a long - 57cm - and heavy - 73 grams - segmented fob chain with large engraved links with charming Star motifs to one side, and stunning 9ct rose gold floral motifs to the other, this necklace can be worn reversibly when desired.
A substantial T-bar measuring 4cm suspends from a large closed round link, and the entire necklace fastens with an equally substantial Sterling dog-clip.
An impressive and eye catching piece of jewellery which turns heads and receives compliments whenever it is worn!

Very good to excellent vintage condition. A very solidly made piece of jewellery, heavy and substantial in manufacture. No repairs. No damages. Minor marks to Silver only, patina here and there which could be polished to ‘new’ if desired. Dog-clip functions perfectly. All links are ‘closed’ and original.
