Vintage ‘Antique Style’ 9ct Yellow Gold Smoky Quartz Convertible Brooch - London 1972
Crafted in the Victorian Style this stunning brooch is, however, vintage and fully hallmarked for assay in London and date letter stamped for manufacture in 1972.
Designed as a convertible piece of jewellery with the top brooch section featuring a hidden ’S’ hook to the verso to which the lower drop section easily is removed if desired.
Crafted from rich and bright 9ct yellow gold with scrolling openwork very much in the Victorian antique style each section is set with a glorious oval faceted Smoky Quartz - one at 13mm x 10mm or approximately 4.0ct and the second at 12mm x 9mm or 3.2ct.
In pristine condition this fine piece of jewellery belies her 50 years of age, is versatile and would make a wonderful addition to any jewellery collection.

CONDITION
Very good to excellent vintage condition. No chips or abrasions to Smoky quartz. Pearls are lovely, bright and white. Roll over clasp and pin original and very secure. No issues to note.
