Vintage 9ct Rose Gold Pear-Shape Opal Doublet Ring

A vintage piece dating to around the 1960-70’s, and crafted from a subtle rosy hued 9ct gold, and centred with a large pear-shaped Opal doublet measuring approximately 11 x 8mm, bezel set to a lightly raised solid gallery and set to a quite gorgeous, wide slightly pointed flat shank which tapers to a comfort fit rear flat shank.
The Opal doublet displays an amazing play of colour exhibiting almost every colour of the rainbow - vibrant reds, iridescent blues, greens, yellows, oranges and violets, and can be seen in most lighting conditions!
A low rise ring on the finger, comfortable to wear and suitable to wear every day with care. This charming vintage ring adds a pop of colour and brightens the wearers day!

CONDITION
Very very good vintage condition. A nicely made ring with good proportions, not too high on finger. Opal doublet is very vibrant and displays a bright colourful display. Well set and secure. A tiny mark, about 2mm - seen only under x10 loupe magnification - near bezel edge, noting this for accuracy only, eye clean and lovely. Setting and shank are lovely, solid and a very nice rosy hued gold with no thinning.
