There is something instantly captivating about this vintage 18 carat yellow gold Amethyst and diamond ring. At its centre sits a beautifully rich oval-/cut Amethyst, approximately 2.8ct, glowing with deep violet/lavender tones that come alive in the light. Bold yet refined, it’s a gemstone that immediately draws the eye and holds it the beholders gaze.
The Amethyst is securely set in a four claw 18ct white gold setting, and surrounding it are 18 round brilliant diamonds of very good colour and clarity, forming a dazzling halo.
Amethyst and diamonds are a natural partnership — the diamonds brighten and define the purple hues, while the Amethyst adds depth and warmth to the sparkle!
The classic basket-style setting, tapered upswept shoulders, and thick solid gold wide shank give the ring a wonderful sense of strength and substance. It feels reassuringly well made and hefty - over 6 grams — a piece with real character and substance that you’ll reach for again and again.

Excellent preowned condition. There are no chips or abrasions to the Amethyst, or diamonds. The claws are original, strong and solid. A substantial ring in heft and manufacture - 6.05 grams - well made and lovely. No thinning to the shank, very thick and solid. No issues to note!
