Vintage 14ct Yellow Gold Dark Opal Ring
Big, bold and beautiful this substantial Opal ring makes an impression whenever she is seen!
Crafted from 14ct yellow gold and weighing a very substantial 11.8 grams and centred with a bezel set oval cabochon solid dark Opal measuring approximately 9.5mm x 6.7mm.
Exhibiting a grey body tone (approximately N7) and displaying a nice rolling play of colour, greens, yellows, flashes of pinks, mauves and a hint of red.
Flanking the central Opal are two tiny round Opal cabochons which are quite vibrant and display their own fiery display of colour!
The setting is exquisite, two tiered curvaceous arches to an equally beautiful open worked gallery, swept up shoulders and a thick flat shank.
This is a substantially made ring. Weighing a hefty 11.8 grams, and feels absolutely wonderful on the finger.
