This antique 15-carat rose gold ring is a striking example of early 20th-century design, dating to around the Edwardian to early Art Deco period.

Made from richly toned 15ct rose gold, it is designed as a wide, smooth band that feels solid and comfortable on the finger, weighs a very substantial 8.4 grams. Its design is both bold and refined, making it suitable for any gender.

At the center sits a large round cabochon Rhodolite garnet in a vivid plum-pinky red shade. The stone is flush set into the gold, giving the ring a clean, sculpted look. Under certain lighting, the Garnet shows a faint pinpoint shifting glow - chatoyancy - phenomenon across its surface—a subtle and unusual feature that also draws the eye.

To either side of the Garnet are two large old Mine-cut diamonds, each weighing around 0.30 carats. These are also flush set, adding a balanced sparkle that complements the warmth of the rose gold and the depth of the Garnet’s colour.

This ring has a smooth, sleek weighty feel and sits beautifully on the hand. It’s an easy piece to wear yet instantly noticeable, with a rich character that reflects its age and quality craftsmanship. A pleasure to wear and draws attention whenever it is seen.
