Dating to around the 1990’s (provenance) this strikingly beautiful necklace is simply a pleasure to behold.
Crafted from Sterling silver this impressively heavy 45 gram necklace is set with glorious open work carved Carnelian plaques topped with stunningly scrolled Sterling caps, and interspersed with vibrant ultramarine-blue Lapis Lazuli beads.
The central drop measures an incredible 9cm and sits stunningly on the neck. An oval belcher link chain suspends all of this exotic work and secures perfect with a large Sterling silver parrot clasp.
A heavy piece of jewellery, unusual and obviously not mass produced, which looks simply divine on the décolleté whether worn for casual attire or a special occasions.
