Manufactured around the early 20th century this utterly charmingly proportioned 9ct gold double sided photo locket measuring 3.5cm x 2.5cm (with bale).

With original double compartments which are we believe early ‘plastic’ probably casein, much more durable than glass.

Fine ‘balls’ embellish the outer frame and with a fully functional screw top bale which is easy to wind on and off.

Pop in your favourite photo or even some pretty dried flowers!

CONDITION

Very good antique condition. Winding bale works perfectly. In images what can appear as a ‘dent’ isn’t, it is where the 9ct stamp is applied to the frame. Slight marks to both casein compartments, these can’t be noticed when photo or flowers popped inside.
