Antique/Vintage Boxed - Un-Set Shell Cameo
This piece has been treasured for many decades in its original velvet fitted box and we hope it will be as treasured by its new caretaker for many years to come.
Dating to around the 1920-1940’s we believe, this piece would have almost definitely been purchased in Italy on a tour.
Finely carved, in relief, the profile of a woman with a veil. Is this a vision of the Virgin Mary? We simply are not sure.
Beautiful carved, the Cameo is snug in her original velvet inset and the leather bound box is in good condition for its age.
Pop this pretty and poignant piece in your collectibles collection, she simply beautiful.
