Antique Victorian Silver Albertina Tassel Necklace Circa 1880-90
Measuring a very generous 48.5cm with an early and professional addition of the two rope twist sections which now allows what would have been a shorter Albertina watch chain to be worn - as she should be! - as a beautiful necklace!
Crafted from 900 silver to the original triple strand fancy slider section and Tassels, and 925 silver to the substantial rope twist section, with heavy gauge jump rings securing and leading to the dog clip fastener.
Two stunning, matching seven strand Tassels can be worn low on the décolletage or swing her around and allow them to drop prettily further up the neck!
A striking antique necklace which will bring compliments when ever she is seen and an absolute must for the Victorian silver collector.

CONDITION
Very good to excellent antique condition. No repairs, damage or dents. Dog clip is tight and springy. Tassels are lovely with no missing strands or balls. The two rope twist sections are early additions to lengthen this one to wear as a necklace, done professionally and match perfectly.
