Antique Victorian Ruby Glass Sterling Silver Cornucopia Chatelaine Scent Bottle Circa 1890
Dating to the late Victorian era to the turn of the century circa 1890 this charming scent bottle is a must for the collector.
Originally worn on a chatelaine by the lady of the house perhaps, these collectible Cornucopia scent bottles can now be worn around the neck on a chain.
Crafted from plummy red ruby glass which is beautifully faceted and topped with a Sterling Silver chased floral cap.
Underneath this cap, miraculously she retains her original glass stopper!
The suspensory ring and chain is also Sterling Silver, all original with no thinning to the lovely oval belcher links or ring.
