This petite late Victorian ring box is printed to the inside lid, ‘Kendal & Dent, Watchmakers & Jewellers, 106 Cheapside London’.  

The company was originally a partnership between James Francis Kendal and Edwin Dent located at 106 Cheapside between 1881-1941 and from 1942-1971 at Swan House 34-35 Queen Street, London. The duo were very well known for their excellent watchmaking expertise.

Measuring 2.8cm tall x 2.5cm, this glorious box features a supple deep purple/violet interior in wonderful condition, its ring bed in its original shape providing a great hold for your treasured ring!

There is slight loss to the bottom edge exterior but nothing that detracts from the overall quality.

Exterior: Brown to Deep Maroon Leather

Interior: Deep purple/violet velvet, cream satin

CONDITION
This box is in very good to excellent condition.  Very minor marks to exterior leather, some loss to the bottom corner exterior but does not detract from overall condition and quality. The velvet is in lovely condition and ring bed is in original shape, nice and secure to hold your ring in place. Closes securely to keep your special jewels safe and secure.
