Early Australian 15ct yellow gold (and bloomed) ring by Aronson & Co dating to around the turn of the century.

Hand crafted from 15ct gold and **bloomed to give it and even yellower gold appearance, this beauty is of the hue seen more in 22ct gold pieces.

Wonderful detail to the shoulders compliment the simplicity of the five dark red rubies, all securely claw set, to the horizontal navette shaped central section.

A strong and wide shank completes the picture to this low profile and very wearable piece of antique Australian history.

History of Aronson & Co.

This ring bears early Australian stamps , a 'flag' symbol, ’15’ and the ‘’hanging fleece’ representing Australian guarantee of quantity mark (used between 1889 - 1920's).

The flag symbol was used by Australian jewellery firm Aronson & Co. “Aronson & Co. was the successor of Rosenthal, Aronson and Co. founded in 1878.
