An exquisite antique Sterling silver perfume bottle, hallmarked for Birmingham 1891 by renowned maker Arthur Willmore Pennington in operation from 1890-1920’s.

A fine example of early Art Nouveau design, featuring intricate repoussé floral motifs all four sides, and to the front a shield-shaped un-inscribed cartouche awaiting your personal monogram if desired. The hinged ‘cap’ is in perfect working condition and is deeply fluted. 

To the verso another small cartouche bears the full and legible hallmarks for assay in Birmingham and Arthur Willmore Pennington hallmarks.

Complete with its original fitted box, lined with plush blue velvet and pale blue satin with the original retailers name ‘MALLETT’ - Goldsmith - Bath. 

Both the perfume bottle and leather fitted box are in excellent condition, no repairs, dings or dents to the perfume bottle, in fact it appears to perhaps never being used or even removed from its fitted box. The box is also in excellent condiment with only minor signs or age.

This collectible item is perfect for enthusiasts of antique silverware and Art Nouveau style. A timeless treasure, beautifully preserved.

CONDITION
Excellent antique condition.  The perfume bottle is immaculate, no dents, dings or signs of use.  The box is also in excellent antique condition, the interior is plush, no wear to royal blue velvet, the blue satin only shows very minor ‘fading’ to colour here and there, noting for accuracy only.  Box opens and closes perfectly.  No issues to note.
