Hallmarked so clearly for the year 1900 this quite amazing, almost in unworn condition, early wedding ring is superb.

Crafted from 9ct gold, rose gold, however the colour is not overly ‘rose’ in hue and almost has in some lights a slight yellow tone also.

With ‘foliate’ patterning throughout the full circumference depicting Chrysanthemum which were favoured by the Victorians as a symbol of love… this ring was almost certainly manufactured as a wedding band.

With a pronounced buckle and pin and raised loop strap in highly polished finish which contrasts wonderfully with the deep engraving to the rest of the band
Of very wide proportions, 11.5mm at the widest point of the buckle, to a full 8mm width for the remainder of the band.

Full British hallmarks as clear as a bell for ‘KBSP’ makers mark, 9 / 375 / and date letter ‘a’ for the year 1900.

This glorious ring belies her 121 years of age, we believe she may not have been worn, or if at all, not for very long.

Wouldn’t this antique ring make the perfect choice for a sustainable alternative wedding band.. something old something new!
