Antique Victorian 15ct Yellow Gold And Diamond Etruscan Revival Earrings - Circa 1880-90
An absolutely fabulous, and very large, pair of antique Victorian Etruscan revival earrings dating to the late Victorian era circa 1880’s.
Crafted from 15ct gold which has been *bloomed to give that high(er) carat matte antique finish we all adore, and destined in three dimensional tiered fashion with stunningly good intricate details to the outer border, and, to the raised central section we find a superb old Mine cut diamond set in a large ‘gypsy’ rayed star setting.
Larger that examples we usually see they each measure just shy of 2cm round (1.88mm), and drop a fabulous 3cm from the ear.
Suspended from fine quality 15ct gold shepherd hook fitting for pierced ears, with the added security of a U hook safety ensuring these beautiful earrings are safe in the ear.
Presenting rarely to the market in this condition (excellent) and this size, these extraordinary earrings are an asset to any serious jewellery collectors wardrobe.

Fabulous antique condition, excellent! No dents, no repairs. Diamonds are lovely, well set and secure, no chips, abrasions or issues. Shepherds hooks may be a little later but suit perfectly, strong and firm, no issues. Gold is bright, blooming is all there and stunning. A wonderful pair of earrings.
