Antique Victorian 14ct Yellow Gold ‘Back To Front’ Closure Earrings Circa 1880-1900
Dating to the late Victorian era these wonderful earrings feature ‘front to back’ lever back fittings for pierced ears.
Crafted from gold which is testing as 12ct for the earring body and 17ct for the lever backs, and designed as oval ornate three dimensional panels with a central buttercup (or belcher set) natural half seed Pearl to the centre.
Dropping below is an articulated conical drop which delicately dances with every movement.
Dropping a lovely 3cm from the ear, these light weigh and easy to wear antique earrings are a must for the antique earrings connoisseur.

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. Lever backs work perfectly, easy to put on. Pearls original, no re-glues, the Pearls are slightly different, a testament to their antique hand manufacture. No repairs. A delightful pair of antique earrings.
