Antique Australian 9ct Rose Gold Diamond Buckle Ring By Willis and Sons Circa 1910
This wonderful piece by one of our iconic early Australian jewellers - Willis and Sons - dates to around the first decade of the 20th century circa 1910.
Crafted from 9ct rose gold and modelled as the enduring symbol of everlasting love and commitment, the buckle ring.
Star or ‘gypsy’ set with an old Mine cut diamond of approximately 2.5mm or 0.06ct to the centre of the ring which is highly polished gold and to the outer edges of the ring we find an intricate edging for the entire circumference.
Fully and clearly hallmarked with Willis and Sons renowned ‘Unicorn’ symbol, ‘9’ and ‘W’ for Willis and Sons used after 1904.
One of the finest examples of its type we have had the pleasure of offering by this maker this one is perfect for the Australian jewellery collector.

CONDITION
Very very good antique condition. No chips to diamond, bright and sparkly, approximately H-I colour - SI2 clarity. Hallmarks very crisp indicating no thinning to band. Minor marks to gold only. Fine intricate edging to both outer edges in excellent condition with no fading.
