Perfectly pretty in its styling this early Australian ring dates to around the first quarter of the 20th century and is crafted from 15ct rose gold.

Styled as a low profile band and set in typical ‘Gypsy’ star set manner are three natural light to medium blue faceted Sapphires.

Featuring three segmented panels to which each Sapphire is set and tapering gently to a flat comfortable shank.

The 15ct rose gold is a lovely soft mellow antique hue and compliments the Sapphires beautifully.

Hallmarked very clearly inside the shank with the name ‘MAINLAND’ and 15ct we are certain this ring is Australian in manufacture however we have scoured our reference books and to date we cannot find this elusive maker!

CONDITION

Very good antique condition. Hallmarks crisp and clear therefore no thinning to shank. Sapphires are secure in their settings. Abrasions to one of the two smaller Sapphires not noticeable to the naked eye but seen under x 10 magnification. Small resize mark to inside of shank. Minor marks to inside of shank but none to outside of shank. Lovely early ring.
