A charming pair of antique Victorian to early Edwardian earrings reflecting the Victorians fascination with heavenly symbolism.
Designed as the ever popular ‘crescent moon and star’ motif, and crafted from rich and lush 15ct yellow gold and set with graduated natural half Pearls.
These precious earrings are a very early conversion, expertly executed, with posts and butterfly backs (in 9ct gold), for strength and longevity.
Measuring a very pleasing 1.2cm ‘round’ and sitting very flat on the earlobe, these wonderful earrings are in in excellent condition with all their lustrous half Pearls original and in stunning condition.
Perfect for the ‘celestial’ collector, or for anyone who adores the symbolism associated with romantic themed Victorian jewellery!.

Very very good antique condition. As mentioned these have been an early conversion, very well done and very solid and secure, with only minimal evidence of conversion. Posts are straight, solid and strong. Pearls are all original with no re-sets or re-glues, non losses to nacre and a lovely creamy white. Butterfly backs are matching, 9ct gold, and very secure on the posts. Just lovely and look stunning on the ear.
