Our second stunning vintage Garnet ring presenting to this weeks drop, perfect for the Garnet lover and January birthday person alike!
Crafted from 9ct yellow gold and styled as a classic ‘antique style’ bridge ring, with a central oval-cut - almost cushion-cut - Almandine Garnet weighing approximately 1.00ct, and flanked beautifully to either side by two round faceted Pyrope Garnets.
The almost imperceptible colour difference between the central Garnet and the accompanying ones is delicate and refined, the central Almandine displaying a slight but deep ‘plum’ red and of course the Pyropes a deep crimson red!
A scrolled carved under gallery supports the above gems to perfection, and a simple solid shank completes the picture perfectly.
Dating to around the 1970’s, this ever popular bridge style ring - which never dates! - is perfect for the January birthstone among us, or simply for anyone who admires the warmth rich and intensity of a Garnet ring.

CONDITION
Very good to excellent vintage condition. All the Garnets are original, no chips, no abrasions. Claws are original and holding the gems securely, ever ever so slight wear seen only under x 10 loupe magnification, noting this for complete accuracy only! Shank is thick, strong and solid, no thinning. Gallery is lovely, scrolled and ornate, no damage or thinning. No issues to note.
