Important Antique Late Victorian/Early Edwardian 9ct Rose Gold And Citrine Intaglio Fob/Pendant Circa 1890-1905
Please note, boxes and chains are for display only unless otherwise stated.
A superb and quite important antique Citrine carved intaglio fob seal/pendant dating to the late Victorian to early Edwardian era.
Featuring an impeccable oval faceted Citrine weighing approximately 77ct - 3.4cm x 2.7cm x 1.62cm - beautifully faceted and a golden/yellow pale honey hue, and carved to the base with a coat of arms.
The Citrine is glorious… in superb condition with no chips or abrasions, faceted and open allowing the light to reflect and shimmer with golden yellow sparkles in any and all lighting conditions.
Set in a simple but very solid and substantial 9ct rose gold framework and a good sized round top bale to allow a dog-clip or bolt ring to suspend this captivating piece mourned the décollete.
Outstanding in all aspects, this is a true collectors piece and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to offer such an important piece of history.
