Antique Victorian 15ct (And 9ct) Yellow Gold ‘Whistle’ Canon Pendant With Antique Engraved Split Ring

A rare little survivor from a bygone era, this fine example dates to the Victorian era and is complete with its original - or earlier - Victorian engraved split ring.
The whistle canon pendant is crafted from lush 15ct yellow gold, and miraculously still functions somewhat as a whistle, however we don’t suggest you use this one in an emergency! Attached as a supporting top ring is a wonderful engraved split ring which is in excellent condition and will accommodate a large gauge chain, one or two dog-clips or a large bolt ring making this one very versatile when worn as a pendant.
Of course you could attach this a charm bracelet if desired.
In lovely Victorian condition, a rich and buttery hue only 15ct gold displays, and ready to wear!

CONDITION
Very good to excellent antique condition. Split ring engraving is nice and crisp, no separation of ring. Whistle is in very good condition, minor marks etc commensurate with age. ‘Whitstles’ ok.. won’t be useful in an emergency though! No other issues to note.
