Fabulous Antique Edwardian *Gold Filled Cameo Slide Chain Circa 1915-20’s
Dating to the late Edwardian to perhaps into the early Art Deco era, this impressive and substantial ‘slide’ chain makes quite the impression when worn!
Crafted in *Gold Filled* typical of the era and type of jewellery, this example is a cut above the rest and very well made.
A substantial chain weighing a hefty 52 grams and measuring 102cm with double grooved belcher links and a very large 3cm x 2cm ornate cameo set ‘slider’ which glides with ease on the chain.
A large 2.2cm dog-clip allows a variety of styling options and will accommodate a heavy locket/pendant if desired.
A rich and warm hue almost the colour of 18ct gold, in lovely condition for its age, this piece draws ‘ Ohhs and Ahh’s’ whenever it is worn!

Very good to excellent antique condition. A very solid and heavy example at 53 grams, well made with no repairs or damage. The links are thick and solid made, with lovely detailing. Cameo slide component slides with ease, minor marks and a slight impression to rear only. Some patina creating this almost 18ct gold hue, we will not clean this one as it looks lovely as is. A stunning and impressive example of its type.
