Vintage 18ct Yellow Gold Five Diamond Ring Circa 1950’s

A simply charming vintage ring dating to around the 1950’s which is suitable for many occasions, perhaps as an eternity ring, an alternative wedding band or simply the most stunning everyday stacking ring!
Crafted from lush 18ct yellow gold and designed as a slightly graduated flat band set with five sparkling round brilliant-cut diamonds, with each diamond set in a very slightly raised solid Platinum diamond-shaped setting and each diamond securely four claw set. The impression on the finger is that of a dainty half-hoop with a lovely spread east to west of 1.6cm.
Tapering gently to a comfort fit shank at the verso, this low rise and very comfortable to wear ring sits well with all manner of other flat bands, diamond bands or even an engagement style ring…. the options are endless!

Excellent vintage condition. The diamonds are bright, with no chips or abrasions. The claws are original, thick and strong and covering each diamond perfectly. No thinking to band or shank. Minor marks to gold only. A great stacking ring!
