A strikingly unusual combination pendant/brooch dating to around 1900 in a style, form and quality that we’ve not encountered for some time.

A mix of styles with strong Art Nouveau overtones, this fabulous piece is crafted from 9ct rose gold with the stunning foliate work in contrasting textured 9ct yellow gold, and the central spectacular ‘Daisy’ features vibrant royal blue and crisp white enamel work with 9ct gold detailing and a lustrous round Pearl, all of  which is in excellent is in excellent condition.

A large and imposing piece of jewellery which measures 4.8cm x 3.8cm which can be worn as both a pendant - original inverted V shaped top bale - or as a brooch with a tubular push-in / trombone pin to the verso.  

The combination of textures, colours and strikingly unusual visual appeal of this versatile piece of jewellery is simply outstanding and looks wonderful worn as either a pendant or brooch.  Perfect for the jewellery connoisseurs who prefer a piece of jewellery that no one else has!

CONDITION
Very good to excellent antique condition.  An impressive piece, well made.  Enamel is all intact, no repairs.  Minor impressions to verso in one area only, quite insignificant.  No dings to front.  Tubular push in pin and clasp are original and in excellent working condition.  Bale is original, has a small unidentified gold mark also, no issues or thinning. No repairs.  A strikingly unusual and impressively large piece of antique jewellery.
