There are some beautiful pieces of ‘antique style’ jewellery available on the market in todays enthusiastic jewellery climate, and this ring is perhaps one of the most beautiful we have seen, and has quickly become one of our favourite pieces this week!

Of unknown age and origin, but we strongly believe dating to around the 1980’s, this handcrafted ring is designed in the antique Victorian manner and artistic style, from 18ct yellow gold to the shank, and, in typical antique style, Sterling silver to the diamond and Sapphire settings.

Showcasing a central oval checkerboard type faceted blue Sapphire which is six claw set, to a halo surround of charming rose-cut diamonds all bead and claw set which twinkle with ye olde world charm, to a further surround of larger rose-cut diamonds with stunning trefoil type motifs at four points of the perimeter.

Millgraine edging abounds to the diamond settings characteristic, again of the Victorian aesthetic.

Upswept shoulders each feature a further three rose-cut diamonds, and a simple 18ct yellow gold shank keeps this beauty comfortable on the finger.

A low profile ring with incredible spread on the finger of an impressive 2.3cm x 2.1cm, this ring is mesmerisingly beautiful and impossible to take ones eyes off!

In just lovely condition wth no issues to note, this quite breathtaking ring is a reluctant sale for us.. be quick. Before we change our minds!

CONDITION
Excellent preowned condition.  No chips or abrasions to Sapphire, all six claws are original and holding the Sapphire perfectly.  Sapphire shows natural colour banding.  Rose-cut diamonds are all well set and secure in their settings, no chips or abrasions.  Shank is slim by design, no thinning nor wear. Some patina to silver, this is charming and ‘suits’ the antique style and beauty of the ring.  No repairs or damages.  A stunningly beautiful ring!
