A superb pair of contemporary post and butterfly back earrings styled in the antique manner, beautifully crafted and set with two outstanding old European-cut diamonds with excellent colour and clarity.
Designed as large 1.6cm round ‘discs’, crafted from 18ct yellow gold, and each is ‘Star’ set to the centre with a stunning 0.33ct old European-cut diamond of ‘G’ colour and excellent VS2 clarity.
Beautiful royal blue enamel work surrounds the principal diamonds with ornate scrolled gold to the outer borders, and eight tiny rose-cut diamonds twinkle discreetly to the outer borders of each also.
These earrings are hefty - a combined 8.3 grams - of excellent quality manufacture, and the post fittings are set high to the verso on each earring which ensures they sit ‘flat’ and do not drop forward when worn, truly stunning!
Strikingly beautiful on the ear, these earrings are quite ‘regal’ with there royal blue enamel and incredible central diamonds, and receive compliments when ever they are worn!

CONDITION
Very good preowned condition. Principal diamonds are stunning, well set and secure and excellent colour and clarity. Small accent rose-cuts are also well set and secure. Enamel is good, there are two tiny areas seen under magnification to one earring that has been ‘touched up’, this is barely seen to to naked eye if at all, done well, noting for accuracy only. Substantial and hefty earrings. Posts are strong, solid and straight. Butterly backs look almost identical however one is 18ct, one is 9ct. No other issues to note.
