Superb in craftsmanship and beauty this antique Edwardian brooch is one of the finest we have had the pleasure of offering!
Crafted in 15ct gold with a higher carat ‘blooming’ and centred in a cut down collet setting is this richly coloured beautiful 17.3mm x 1.2mm ( 7.50ct) golden oval faceted Citrine surrounded by thirty six, all original, and natural creamy-white half seed Pearls with lovely lustre.
The Citrine is superb.. beautifully faceted, large and a rich yellow in hue and in a condition that belies its age.. not an imperfection to note!
In almost pristine condition for its age, vibrant and striking given the bright lush gold, luscious Citrine and the contrasting white of the pretty half seed Pearls, this early piece of jewellery has been hidden away too long and is longing to be admired once again!\

Excellent antique condition. No chips or abrasions to the Citrine. All Pearls are original, no re-glues, bright and lustrous. Original C clasp and pin is in a lower carat gold typical of the day, used for added longevity and strength. No issues to note. Simply stunning!
