Superb Vintage 10ct Rose Gold Carved Heart Amethyst Long Drop Earrings Circa 1940’s
These superb vintage 10‑carat rose gold Amethyst earrings are a rare and truly captivating find. Dating to around the 1940s, they showcase the elegance and craftsmanship of a bygone era, brought to life through their rich rose‑gold hue and exquisite detailing.
Each earring features a strikingly beautiful carved heart‑cut Amethyst, each weighing approximately 3.2 carats, set in a graceful bezel set mount.
Suspended below each Amethyst is an ornate torpedo‑shaped drop, adorned with delicate wave‑like engraving and finished with a tiny gold ball terminal — a design that moves fluidly and catches the light with every turn of the head.
Measuring an impressive 6.4 cm drop from the ear and weighing a combined 12.6 grams, these earrings have a luxurious presence and a wonderful sense of movement given the articulated design. Designed for pierced ears with post and butterfly fittings, they feel as comfortable on the ear as they are visually striking.
