These magnificent antique Victorian piqué torpedo drop earrings, dating from around 1880–1890, are a breathtaking example of the artistry and precision of late 19th-century jewellery design — now over 130 years old.
Crafted with exceptional skill, they are made from rich dark tortoiseshell intricately inlaid with gold and silver floral and tendril motifs, each tiny detail perfectly preserved on both the front and back. Remarkably, not a single piece of the delicate inlay is missing — a rarity that speaks volumes about their quality and care through the generations.

Excellent antique condition. These earrings are a superior example, beautifully made, with absolutely no missing or damaged gold or silver inlay. No damage to tortoiseshell. Shepherd hooks are strong, firm and straight. Superb!
