Antique Edwardian/Deco 9ct Rose Gold ‘MIZPAH’ Ring - Birmingham 1915
Please note, boxes are for display only unless otherwise stated.
This charming Edwardian–early Art Deco Mizpah ring is a beautifully preserved piece of sentiment from a turning point in history.
Crafted from 9 carat rose gold and fully hallmarked for manufacture in the United Kingdom, it bears the Birmingham anchor alongside a date letter for 1915, placing it right on the cusp between the final years of the Edwardian era and the emerging Art Deco movement—a time when jewellery carried meaning as deeply as it carried style.
The “MIZPAH” is rendered in gently raised lettering, beautiful preserved and clear after amore than a century.
Traditionally exchanged as a token of affection during separation, MIZPAH rings were given as symbols of love, protection, and remembrance—quiet promises worn close and meant to endure.
This example remains in excellent condition, with beautifully sharp hallmarks that speak to careful wear and a well-preserved shank, free from thinning or over-polishing.
Petite by design, the ring feels light and effortless on the hand, exactly as it was intended in its time.
Subtle, sentimental, and deeply personal, this is a piece that carries its history gracefully—an antique ring that feels just as meaningful today as it did when first given over a century ago.
