Antique Australian Edwardian 15ct Rose Gold Oval Hinged Bangle - Circa 1910-15
We believe this beautiful bangle is of Australian origin, based on its distinctive hallmarks (including the “15c” stamping in the Australian style) and the absence of standard UK marks. It carries the maker’s initials ‘G. T.Y’. inside, adding a lovely personal touch to its history.
Even though it is ‘hollow’ in design, this is a very substantial piece and weighs an impressive 17.09 grams. The gold is nice and thick, giving it that sturdy, quality feel that makes it so comfortable and satisfying to wear. The oval shape sits beautifully on the wrist without being bulky, striking that perfect balance between presence and everyday wearability.
It closes securely with a tight push-in box clasp and still retains its original safety chain — thoughtful details that show how well it was made over a century ago.
With its soft rose gold glow and classic Edwardian styling, this bangle is a timeless treasure. Whether you’re building an Australian jewellery collection, adding to your antique pieces, or simply looking for a beautiful everyday 15ct gold bracelet that feels special, this one is sure to delight.
