A wonderful and symbolic ring dating to the Edwardian era and fully hallmarked for assay in London, 1909.
Measuring a substantial 7.56mm wide, this ring provides great finger coverage and features a captivating design of alternating diagonal floral and plain banners to the full circumference, offering both symbolic charm and finger-hugging comfort.
Weighing 5.07 grams, it bears crisp hallmarks (‘9’ for 9ct, Leopard’s Head for London, ‘O’ for 1909, and unattributed ‘J G’ maker’s mark) and is in excellent antique condition with no fading or thinning. Measuring a finger size Q 1/2 (US 8 1/2, 18.5mm diameter), resizing is not recommended to preserve the intricate pattern.
