Lush little pair of 15ct yellow gold earring dating to around 1920.
Crafted from 15ct gold and of hollow domed style, and set to the centre, in starburst style, with a square-cut Emerald measuring approx 3.0mm or approx 0.11cts each.
(** Please note that one Emerald does have a chip to outer corner**).
The chip to one Emerald can be seen in photos and under magnification and perhaps with 20/20 vision, however once in the ears this simply cannot be seen.
Surrounding each Emerald in a star motif are six tiny seed pearls, all original, with a fine milgrain edging to the outer rim of each earring.
With original post fitting and butterfly backs which are stamped 9ct - these are later backs but fit perfectly.
Appearing earlier in style, we thought more late Victorian or turn of the century, however post and butterfly backs first made their appearance around 1920.
