Antique Sterling Silver Trombone Link Albert Chain And Fob Shield

Attractive and popular Trombone link watch chain dating to the late Victorian to very early Edwardian era.

Crafted from Sterling Silver throughout and with hallmarks to both dog clips including the Lion passant for UK Sterling and a makers marks we cannot quite make out. 

The associated Shield medallion is a little later and hallmarked for Birmingham 1918 with an un-inscribed cartouche in the centre which could be engraved with your initials if desired.

Measuring a nice 42cm in circumference these classic chains always add a touch of class to any outfit.

Good antique condition.  Dog clips both springy and perfectly functional.  Shield un-inscribed both from and back.  Slight thinning to small oval links however plenty of years left in this one.
