Antique Sterling Silver Albertina Chain T-Bar and Fob Circa 1920’s-30

Lovely Sterling Silver Albertina of a good wearable length at 39cm.

Stamped with the lion passant to every graduated curb link, fob and T-bar.

Silver medallion Maltese engraved Fob Shield is by William James Dingley, Warstone Lane, Birmingham and has date letter for 1922.  This shield is engraved both sides and interestingly had a different shaped centre panel front and back, both of which are un-engraved.

T-bar is by H.W. Ashford, Hylton Street Birmingham and has date letter for 1930.

Together in combination they make for a nice solid and very popular necklace, or, depending on the size of your wrist, a very currant and also popular bracelet!

39CM Neck Circumference (Easily extended with the addition a a few silver links if desired)
Maltese Cross
2cm x 2cm
T-Bar 3.6cm
54.61 Grams
Lion Passant
‘F’ date letter for 1930
‘X’ date letter for 1922
Good antique condition with normal patina and buffs to silver, nothing of note.
Can easily be buffed to ‘as almost new’ if desired.
Dog clip probably a later replacement, works fine, nice at tight
