Utterly charming natural faceted Amethyst carved in to an every popular heart shape.
The centre Amethyst is held securely in place by eleven claws, all of which are original and in excellent condition. Of lovely depth and saturation we class this Amethyst as mid to dark in colour.
Hand made in circa 1915 from soft hued rose gold, with simple tapered upswept shoulders in a slightly raised solid gallery, to a nice comfortable D shaped band.
Marked with an ‘old’ 9ct stamp befitting the era and we are quite sure this piece is Australian, not English by manufacture, due to the style and stamp.

Lovely antique condition. Extremely minor softening to facets viewable under x10 magnification, eye clean.
Claws all original and in excellent order. Band shows no thinning.
