Sometimes the profile of a ring is just as beautiful as the face of the ring itself and this one is simply stunning.
Dating to the the Art Deco era or into the 1940’s we believe and crafted from 18ct yellow and white gold and centred with a solitaire brilliant cut Diamond weight approximately 0.10cts.
The Diamond is set in a raised ornate coronet setting to carved scrolling raised shoulders which have micro-millgrain edgings throughout, to a second stepped series of shoulders also very ornate to the then 18ct yellow gold shank.
Almost cathedral in appearance from the profile and beautifully worked and crafted but not too high once on the finger to be distracting!
This lovely ring would make a sustainable choice as a ‘new-old’ engagement ring or just add her to your favourite ring stack of the day.
We are almost 100% positive this lovely ring was manufactured in Australia given the style, craftmanship and 18ct stamp.
