We like to believe pieces such as this started their lives as future heirloom pieces, perhaps as a wedding day or special birthday gift, and were stored away, unworn, loved and  treasured due to their significance, but over the years and in this case 110 years, find their way back onto the market in the pristine condition we see in this example.

Crafted in London and date stamped for 1912 this superb Starburst Celestial necklace is comprised of a detachable starburst pendant / brooch studded with half Pearls (all original), well matched and of a beautiful creamy white lustre.

To the verso of the pendant / brooch is a hidden shepherds hook bale which allows the above necklace to suspend it perfectly from a small jump ring.

The necklace component itself is also  studded with half Pearls in a sweet floral motif style, and the first small section of the chain is also set each side with three tiny pearls.

The chain is lovely, strong, beautifully crafted and has the original push-in barrel clasp AND an original safety chain for added security which can also, if needed, be used as an extender allowing this one to be worn lower on the décolletage.

This piece deserves to be a future heirloom once again... wouldn’t it be the perfect addition to that special wedding day or perhaps a special  anniversary gift ?
