Charming antique Australian signet ring by William Dunkling dating to the late Edwardian to early Art Deco era circa 1915.

Crafted in the the most beautiful warm toned 9ct rose gold we have possibly seen and thick, silky smooth and comfortable, it is one of those rings that seemingly melts onto the finger.

The central square shield is buttery smooth and highly polished with curved edges and inscribed with the original owners initials ‘WEM’, to the then wide curved grooved shoulders which flow to a thick and solid half round shank.

As the initials are relatively shallow we believe they could be either buffed completely or at least significantly allowing the new owner, if desired, to add their own personal monogram.

Hallmarked crisply for William Dunkling this early Australian ring would make a wonderful addition to any serious Australian jewellery collectors collection.
