Lovely and large oval faceted natural Amethyst manufactured in Birmingham from 9ct yellow gold in 1963 and hallmarked as such.

Featuring a large 1.8cm x 1.2cm or approximately 10ct Amethyst of light to medium purple, flat tapered four claw set in a raised openwork gallery.

With tapered shoulders to a solid curved shank.

Full British hallmarks and makers mark ‘R & W’.

This lovely solid and quite hefty ring is a showstopper and shows flashes of pale to deep lavender.
