‘Symbolising transformation, rebirth and new beginnings crescent motifs were favoured by the Victorians and were quintessentially seen as feminine symbols..

The moon has always been seen as a feminine force, signifying change, creativity and female empowerment’.

Dating to early 20th century circa 1915 this perfectly pretty 15ct gold and natural seed pearl brooch is by one of our earliest manufacturing jewellers.

Bright yellow gold to the front encompassing the white glow of the natural little seed pearls perfectly, to a more soft and combination rose/yellow to the verso.
Complete with original pin and C clasp in excellent working order.

Slip your favourite gold chain through while pin is closed to wear this also as a pendant!
